The Board of the National Association of Savings and Credit Union appointed WILLIAM KANYIKA as Managing Director to head the institution in 2015. William has worked in the Credit Union movement for 13 years. William’s NASCU positions include Accountant ,Finance and Administration Manager, Director Accounting. He also worked with other organizations as Internal Risks & Audit clerk, Trainee Auditor, Project Accountant, Senior Accountant and Senior Auditor. William holds a Diploma in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance.
FEBIAN MUBUYAETA, operations Manager of National Association of Savings and Credit Union, was promoted to his current position in 2013 after working for one year as Provincial Coordinator for Lusaka province. Febian has worked at NASCU since 2012 and has been engaged in SACCO and institutional operations for 6 years. Febian has a rich background working with financial institutions. He worked with Barclays Bank Zambia as Direct Sales Agent and before he joined NASCU, he worked as Credit Officer at Entrepreneur Financial Centre. He also has vast experience in social research, having worked with Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit, Society for Family Health, Population Council and USAID DISCOVER Health Project as research assistant. Febian Mubuyaeta has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Zambia. He has also attained other short trainings in Micro Finance and Cooperative Development.
NGOSA M. MUMBA is the regional Manager for Lusaka Region which comprises three provinces namely: Lusaka, Central and Eastern provinces. He joined and worked for NASCU by then CUSA Zambia for ten (10) years.
He then joined FINCA Z and worked there for ten (10) years in the following departments: Operations/Credit & Compliance. Before coming back to NASCU, he worked for Lusaka Nursing Institute as College Administrator for three (3) years. Mr. Ngosa has been engaged in the cooperative movement for more than 28 years and has very rich information with financial cooperatives and micro finance institutions within and outside Zambia. Mr Ngosa holds a post graduate diploma in Project Management with Cambridge University and a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management, diploma in accounts and various local and international certificates in entrepreneurship/ small scale business and Cooperative movement.
